Bastille Day - Le 14 juillet

The 14th of July is the date of a double commemoration: the storming of the Bastille in 1789 and the national union of the Fête de la Fédération in 1790. The Patrouille de France flies over the Champs-Elysées with blue, white and red smokes behind in their wake. The military walks down the Champs-Elysées up to Concorde square where they salute the French President, the goverment and the invited heads of foreign states. In the evening, a grand firework is displayed from the Iéna bridge. (Duration 1 day)
